1

Affirming Allah's Lordship is not enough

The polytheists the Messenger ﷺ fought already affirmed that Allah is the Creator and Provider — yet this did not enter them into Islam.

2

Their excuse for shirk

They said: 'We only call upon them to draw us nearer to Allah and to intercede for us' — and Allah refuted this claim.

3

He ﷺ fought all kinds of polytheists

Some worshipped angels, prophets, righteous people, trees, stones, the sun or the moon — and he ﷺ did not distinguish between them.

4

The shirk of our time is more severe

Earlier polytheists were sincere in hardship and committed shirk only in ease. Today's people commit shirk in both.
